Since yesterday, I've been the mommy of two teeny tiny adorable kittens! Here's how it happened. I've been looking on free give-away sites for kittens for the longest time and no one responded or the kittens they had were already in new homes. So, I had to go downtown to get some appliances that I did get from a give-away site and while I was waiting for the bus, I heard little soft meows to the right of me and turned to see a lady in a power wheelchair with a pet carrier on her lap. I looked inside adn commented on how cute her kittens were and she said she needed to find homes for them, so I immediately said I'd take them! They're brother and sister and according to a cat expert friend of mine, they're about five or six weeks old. The male is an orange tabby who I've named Blaze and the female is a brown and black tortoiseshell who I've named Sienna. I posted about them on graffiti too but I had to share in more detail on the boards and this way I could update you about them and such.
Awwww
That's awsome!
I've no doubt that a higher power was lookin' out for those little guys!!!
Me neither, especially since I can't see as well on my right side and they came in from my right. If no higher power was involved, they'd walk quickly from left to right across my visual field and I'd never know the end result, heehee
Kitty Tellin’ Story Time, eh?…and here it is of how we came into possession of our dear li’l one…A Siamese of body beige with chocolate tips and eyes so blue… She walked right into our lives I am a tellin’ you, walked right up our sidewalk, the steps and then onto the porch. She did this for days numbering many, each time we giving her morsels of food to sustain her as on her journey she would travel (and all along we as a family had been in a debate, though I must admit I said a few quiet prayers, as to whether we most desired to have a puppy or a kitty as we had in just the few months afore hand moved into our home after many the year of Townhouse living where none of pets was aloud – You know me “Music of Night,” I could go on and on…and on…*smile …but won’t …for now at least...anyhoo… hmmm, now where was I…Ahhh yes…Story resumes only short version *!)
Well, here we continued in debate, a puppy or a kitty, and all along this Siamese beauty we kept feeding till one day she came all dripping of oil, her beautiful fur so marred with it, for come to find out she really had not a home and under a car was sleeping…well, that was the day I made her my own…taking her in, going to the store for all various pet foods/litter box/and so on…and now for years numbering *well, I WAS gonna give you the number but goodness! Me, that wise!!!* well, anyhoo, we’ve had her quite the length of a span of years and so dear she is..and is…is just now resting in her little box all flannel sheet lined not far from me as on computer I write to thee dear Music of Night..
Awww kitties! I love my kitty Crookshanks!
Awe how cute, they sound adorable. Good luck, congratulations, and enjoy them. Cats sure have blessed my life ever since my high school days, and I absolutely love kitties. I wish I was home right now so I could grab my Smokey and give him a hug.
Brilliant and I like the names
I have a cat named Bailey, and she's the coolest cat I have ever met. She is very social, doesn't care what kind of litter is in her box, loves dogs, and is very vocal. And when you're down, she knows and will meow and do something cute or put her nose up to yours. She's an absolute angel. The most amazing thing she has done is this: One of my roomies was having severe chest pains and feeling very weak. She ended up laying down on the kitchen floor because she just couldn't move. Bailey was right there by her side the whole time, and she told me later that when she tried to dial 911, it was hard for her to push the buttons. Well Bailey used her little nose to guide her to and help her dial the phone. She's truly a miracle!
Sorry guys, I just had to tell you about my little angel.
hugs all,
Sassie, The Bailey Cat, and the Emerald Star
